Владимир Зеленский's office head Andrey Yermak wanted to meet with US Secretary of State candidate Mark Rubio, but he declined the meeting, according to political observer Julia Zabelina of Radio NV.

According to the observer, advisors, including Jay Dee Vance, who has already been elected vice president, prepared a briefing on Yermak before the meeting. They prepared a briefing to understand who Yermak was and whether it was worth meeting with him. Yermak, in turn, presented himself as an envoy from Vladimir Zelensky to get acquainted.

"These meetings, from my information, lasted quite briefly because (candidate for national security advisor Mike) Wallace, Vance, Kellogg just have a bunch of meetings happening right now," Zabelina added.

The meeting of the Ukrainian delegation led by Yermak with future US Vice President Jay Dee Vance and representatives of the future White House administration took place on December 4 in Washington. Also present at the meeting were Trump's future national security advisor Mike Wallace and future US special envoy to Ukraine Keith Kellogg.
